The Prevention Coalition of Monmouth County’s Opioid Task Force is looking to bring Opioid awareness, education, and resources to one community at a time. Recently we’ve partnered with Long Branch HEARS to make this happen! (For more information please visit our page)
Our team has created a resource toolkit for each business, which includes posters on the Good Samaritan Law, and a bar scan code to find locations to access Narcan. Each business will also receive information on a pre-recorded Narcan training to educate their staff and community. We’re also providing different businesses/sectors with additional resources such as, but not limited to, RX lockboxes, Deterra bags, educational brochures, parent toolkits, and more.
With International Overdose Awareness Day approaching on August 31st, the Coalition aims to bring awareness to this epidemic and support our community members one town at a time. Please stay tuned for more information on this year’s event.
